Vaikom Vijayalakshmi was born on 7 October 1981. She is an Indian playback singer from Kerala, India and an expert in a rare musical instrument called Gayatriveena. She won special jury mention for her much appreciated work in the 2013 film Celluloid. She was honoured with Kerala Sree Award, third highest civilian award given by the Government of Kerala.
